We certainly made an ‘Impact’ with our new client.
It’s always great to work with new clients, especially when they feedback how they enjoyed working with us.
“Pyramid Press were incredibly helpful at every step of the process, making time to show us around, explain every detail to us and really supported us in our decision process. As a student magazine, it is particular important to us to constantly improve but at the same time keep the feel and style cohesive over the years. Pyramid Press has helped us achieve that. We would like to thank Jas Sandhu in particularly and the entire team for being so patient, efficient and most importantly of all honest. “ IMPACT Magazine.
Here are a few pictures from the IMPACT Magazine, which was printed on FSC® credited uncoated material.
We invest a lot of time and effort in our Apprenticeship Scheme. It is always pleasing to see how our apprentices grow in confidence and add real value to Pyramid.
Reece, our I.T Apprentice, has excelled and his hard work has been rewarded by being shortlisted to attend a prestigious event at The House of Lords. Reece is one of only 30 students selected by West Nottinghamshire College to attend this event. The aim of event is to celebrate the college’s work with employers and apprentices with senior politicians and other like-minded colleges and employers.
We all very proud of Reece’s achievement.
The likes of Google and Facebook have been busy telling brands that the most effective way to reach consumers is through digital communications. But whether they are sending out direct mail packs to stakeholders or running imaginative poster campaigns, the tech giants have learned that they cannot do without print advertising to connect with their audiences.

Our annual Christmas raffle, raised £250 for Emmanuel House. Emmanuel House exists to support homeless, vulnerable or isolated adults in and around Nottingham. We received this awesome ‘Thank You’ letter from Dennis Tully, their Chief Executive Officer. A big ‘Thank You’ to all our generous staff who purchased the raffle tickets, too.

We have taken delivery of our first Plug-in Hybrid car. After months of trawling through brochures, and test-driving the range of Plug-in Hybrid cars, we opted for the new VW Golf GTE.
The VW Golf GTE was selected for its phenomenal statistics. The 1.4 petrol engine combined with the batteries travels an amazing 166 miles per gallon, 204PS and 0-62 mph in 7.6 secs and a top speed of 138mph. The CO2 omissions are only 35g/km compared to 107g/km on the standard 1.6 diesel powered Golf.
This is just another example of how Pyramid Press is striving towards a greener environment and making positive steps to reduce our carbon footprint.
Dear Jonathan,Despite the not particularly good weather we had an enormously successful open gardens/festival on Sunday 14th June and I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you for all the wonderful material you provided, both to help us promote the event and for the actual open gardens – not to mention the raffle tickets which were so much smarter than anything we’ve had before and the raffle banner! As I think you’ve already heard from Jeff, we made over £8,700 which is a fantastic figure to share between the church and the two charities and a lot of this is due to the professional promotional material you kindly make available. Your contribution is greatly appreciated by everyone involved. With many thanks again and best wishes,Patrick.PS I have actually retired as treasurer now but I said I’d do the festival one last time!

Is print really dying? Not according to IKEA, After all, the company prints around 200 million of its catalog every year in 27 languages for 38 countries. That’s more than twice the number of bibles produced in a given year.
But is a print catalog too low-fi for the high-tech age? Again, not according to IKEA, who has rolled out an amusing promo for the 2015 catalog. The promo slyly suggesting that print is actually a wondrous technology that equals the power of digital media.
The campaign, by BBH Asia Pacific, invites you to “experience the power of a book” and rediscover “the original touch interface.” Amazing features include “eternal battery life” and pages that “load instantly, with zero lag.” As the charmingly on-screen narrator says: “It’s not a digital book, or an e-book. It’s a bookbook™.”

So next time you think an App or an e-shot will do, think again and fall in love with ‘the original touch interface’. Contact us, and we can help you create something beautiful, tactile, portable, shareable and easy to navigate through.
Our hotelier client in Nottingham had this fantastic idea of providing their clients with ‘sleep spray’. Rather than just place the bottle on the bedside table, our client wanted a simple devise that holds the spray.
They decided on a cloud concept, knowing that clouds are associated with a good night’s sleep. Having a rough outline of their design, Pyramid provide a few alternative mock ups of concepts for the Sleep Spray, from simple place mats, to complex flip boxes, to integrated backboards.
The final design (as shown below) ticked all the boxes, minimalist, stylish, cost effective and matched the ambience of their hotel. The final specification included 140 gsm FSC® uncoated stock, printed with a tint of black, die cut with a slit to house the Sleep Spray. The finishing touch included adding a vertical slit at the both ends of the horizontal slit to prevent any tearing when the bottle was placed in it.
